Madrid, Surigao del Sur, 19 October – The Army’s 36th Infantry (Valor) Battalion conducted the donning of ranks to the newly promoted Enlisted Personnel today at the Battalion Headquarters in Brgy San Juan, Madrid, SDS.

The donning of ranks to the newly promoted Thirty Two (32) Enlisted Personnel were done during the flag raising presided by Ltc Jezreel J Diagmel, Commanding Officer of 36IB.

The said activity was a way of recognizing the well-deserved promotion and uplifting the morale and welfare of the troops in their efforts to be promoted and for others to strive more. It is also a privilege given by the Unit Commander to its personnel and to serve as an inspiration to continue to do their share in the accomplishment of the unit’s mission.

“This promotion was not just a responsibility but will also open the window of opportunity to develop more skills and live up to every expectation. This donning of ranks serves as an inspiration to us to continue develop ourselves and be more responsible to carry out with our given task.’ A newly promoted Enlisted Personnel said.

Ltc Jezreel Diagmel Commanding Officer, 36IB said that, “the donning of ranks is being accorded to all personnel in recognition of their exemplary performance of their duties and responsibilities. Promotion is not an accumulation of power but a new challenge to surpass what you’ve done before, to do better not just for yourselves but especially to the organization that you belong.

“It is expected of you to be more disciplined, to lead as a good example to those in rank and to take responsibility to all actions and decisions you’ve made and to live according to what is being expected to an Officer and Enlisted Personnel. Again, congratulations for your well-deserved promotion.” Ltc Diagmel Added.

Likewise, the activity is also highlighted with the send-off ceremony of the newly assigned privates to their respective line company. 2LT ERWIN B MELENDRES III (INF) PA a newly assigned officer was also welcomed by the Valor Troopers as a new addition to this unit.
