It's been two years since the bloody Bloody Sunday Massacre took place and claimed the lives of nine activists in Southern Katagalugan.
It was the morning of March 7, 2021 when state elements stormed the activist's homes and shot them. In addition to the arrest of six unionist leaders and activists accused of trumped-up charges. It is under the administration of the US-Duterte regime and Lt. Gen. Antonio Parlade Jr. who led the killing of progressive individuals in the Southern Tagalog region. But, after two years, there is still no justice given to the victims and instead it is being prolonged. Also recently, the murder complaint for a victim of the Bloody Sunday Massacre, Manny Asuncion, was dismissed.
Despite successes such as the case of Nimfa Lanzanas, Erlindo Baez, and Ramir Corcolon which prove that the Search Warrants that have been issued are fabricated. State violence against progressive individuals and groups continues.
In this way, the youth and the oppressed see only one solution. Participating in the armed struggle and fighting for their rights at its highest level. It is the lack of justice that drives the youth to take up arms and serve the rural masses.
Challenge to Lagunense youth and the people to join the armed struggle and fight for the people's rights. The people of Timog Katagalugan expect the young revolutionaries to demand justice for the victims of the Bloody Sunday Massacre. Executioners and fascists also expect that the revolutionaries will not stop until a peace based on justice is achieved.
Youth, head to the countryside! Join the NPA!
Give justice to the victims of the Bloody Sunday Massacre!
Hold Rodrigo Duterte and his murderous followers accountable!
