Indigenous Peoples Communities in Barangay Batang and Bacong of Tulunan, Cotabato successfully completed the Photovoltaic Systems Installation NCII training facilitated by North Cotabato Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Provincial Training Center on April 04, 2023.
About 50 trainees received a total of PhP338,000.00 worth of training allowance and solar panel kits after completing the 36-day TALA training, the participants received PhP6,760.00 and a set of solar light panel kits each.
The Photovoltaic Systems Installation is under the TALA (TESDA Alay ay Liwanag at Asenso) project which aims to provide solar energy light to former conflict affected areas wherein Barangays Batang and Bacong are part of.
This activity is in coordination with the Provincial Local Government Unit (PLGU) of Cotabato, Local Government Unit (LGU) of Tulunan, and 39th Infantry Battalion.
