New Corella, Davao del Norte- Charlie Company of 25th Infantry Battalion led by 1st Lieutenant Marlo D Bastasa, Company Commander, conducts “Tulong Bayanihan Para sa Sambayanan” with the theme “Kayang kaya at may Pag-asa basta’t Magkakaisa” to the residents of Sitio Ladeca, Barangay Sta. Fe, New Corella, Davao del Norte yesterday, 08 May 2021.
The said activity became successful through the collaboration and support of the Local Government Unit of New Corella, Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), Barangay Officials, Peace and Order Council of the said Municipality who donated vegetables, rice, canned goods, noodles, etc. and also the troops of 25th Infantry Battalion. The activity prioritizes the residents of the said Sitio for it is considered as Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Area (GIDA) and is greatly affected by COVID 19 pandemic.
“In these hard times, there is a need for us to be united as one and help those who are in need and greatly affected by this pandemic. A little amount of food will already save one’s life and generosity is the only key for us to survive this COVID 19 pandemic.” Colonel Asnawi P Muti, Battalion Commander of this unit said.
