The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) identified the suspect as Muida Hataman, Tesda’s Basilan provincial director, who was arrested in Barangay San Rafael, Isabela City after police served a search warrant at around 4:10 a.m.
Recovered from Hataman were an IED and materials used to make explosives, Police Col. Tom Tuzon, CIDG Regional Field Unit 9 chief said.
Hataman was brought to the CIDG Regional Office in Zamboanga City and will be charged with illegal possession of explosives. (Editor: Gilbert S. Gaviola)
