CAMP GEN GONZALO SIONGCO, Awang, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao (DWDD) – Joint Task Force Commander Brigadier General Cirilito E. Sobejana visited the hallowed ground of Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) at Camp Darapanan in Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao on August 19, 2018.
Brigadier General Sobejana together with his Brigade and Battalion Commanders, General, Personal, Special and
Technical staffs had the opportunity to touch the historical place of Camp Darapanan as a sign of commitment in pursuing peace and development.
The visit and confidence building of the Joint Task Force Central and the Central Committee of MILF set as a historical event, as it was the first time that the 6ID visited the Camp Darapan in full force.
“When you are in Camp Darapan, feel free, you are safe, and secured and feel like at home” said MILF Chairman Al-haj Murad Ibrahim.
“We are embracing you in this camp with a sincere and a clean heart with a common goal” Chairman Ibrahim added.
“The visits is an opportunity for us to listen with your future programs and activities in as par as the approval of the Bansamoro Organic Law”, Brigadier General Sobejana said.
“We have similar objective, which is peace and progress for our people”
“In war, we cannot get enough, but in talking, we can get more than we expect”, and “we are here in full support and cooperation with all your noble intention and undertakings”, Brigadier General Sobejana added. 6DPAO / MCAG
