Western Mindanao Command Chief Maj. Gen. Alfredo Rosario, Jr. visited the 603rd Infantry Brigade headquarters in Barangay Baranayan, Palimbang, Sultan Kudarat on Thursday morning, October 28, 2021, to personally engage with the troops and boost further their morale. He also checked on the existing assets and determined the operational requirements of the unit.
During his talk to the troops, Maj. Gen. Rosario, Jr. expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the efforts exerted by the men and women of the 603rd Infantry Brigade that contributed to the accomplishment of WestMinCom’s mission. He also commended the troops for their numerous accomplishments and significant breakthroughs that demonstrate their hard work and dedicated service.
Maj. Gen. Rosario, Jr. stressed that the armed forces can never be successful in the quest for lasting peace and sustainable development without the support of the local government officials, stakeholders, and the peace-loving people of Mindanao. He urged the troops to maintain a good relationship with the civil society.
He ended by encouraging the troops to always be guided by the concept of 5Ps (Plan, Prepare, Perform, Play, and Pray). “It is applicable in everything that we do, every day of our life,” Maj. Gen. Rosario, Jr. stated.
In his visit to the 603Bde, Maj. Gen. Rosario, Jr. was welcomed with Foyer Honors and was received by Col. Eduardo Gubat, the Brigade Commander who presented a unit briefing to update the former of their remarkable accomplishments and current thrusts.
