Two persons believed to have links with the CPP-NPA yielded firearms and ammunition during separate operations in Escalante City, Negros Occidental on Friday morning, Nov. 2.
Sultan and Perucho, both in the custody of the Escalante City Police Station, were the respondents in separate search warrants dated October 30 and signed by Executive Judge Cecilyn Burgos-Villavert of the Regional Trial Court Branch 89 in Quezon City.
These were issued for violation of Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Law.
