ANTONIO BAUTISTA AIR BASE, Palawan - The US Armed forces conducted dry fire exercise with its High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) in a simulation exercise called HIMARS Rapid Infiltration (HIRAIN) on April 26, Wednesday.

The truck-mounted HIMARS can strike distant targets and can rapidly move around the battlefield. US forces have demonstrated the HIMARS in the Philippines several times.

The HIMARS demonstration forms part of the ongoing Balikatan (BK) 38-23 exercises which started on April 11 and will run until April 28, 2023.

 
WESCOM strongly supports and advocates BK training events such as the HIRAIN as it offers opportunities for capability development and advances combined military modernization through subject matter expert exchanges.
