AFP-CRS: Two (2) militia surrender; eight (8) CPP-NPA-NDF supporters, withdraw support in Quezon

Two Milisyang Bayan members have surrendered while a total of eight CPP-NPA-NDF supporters have withdrawn their support to the Communist Terrorist Group across the municipalities of Tagkawayan and San Francisco, Quezon.

The Tagkawayan and San Francisco Municipal Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict with assistance from 85th Infantry "Sandiwa" Battalion, Quezon PNP, Tagkawayan PNP and San Francisco PNP facilitated the surrender of two milisyang bayan members from barangay Don Juan Vercelos of San Fancisco and the withdrawal of support of eight CPP-NPA-NDF supporters in barangays Casispalan and Mahinta in Tagkawayan.
