Philippine Army Finance Center Producers Integrated Cooperation (PAFCPIC), in
partnership with the 7th Infantry (KAUGNAY) Divison and Nego-Skwela (A
livelihood & Technology
Training Center ),
has launched the PAFCPIC financial literacy entrepreneurship seminar and
livelihood trainings to the 7ID troops.
Participants of the training consists of 60 from line and
post units and offices of the 7ID during the three-day seminar that culminated
Sunday.
There were two types of livelihood seminars/trainings that
the participants can choose from – the household craft (30 participants) and
the other was on technical craft (30 participants) with the total of 60
participants.
The training was divided into four parts and the first part
is about the basic cooperative orientation wherein participants were oriented
regarding the “cooperative as social enterprises.”
The second part was the financial literacy seminar which
enlightened the participants on the importance of financial knowledge and
information and how it will affect their socio-economic conditions.
The third was focused on How to Start a Small Business as
this educate and guide the participants on the basics of putting up a small
business.
Lastly, the actual livelihood seminars & trainings
(household & technical) that educated and trained participants on specific
crafts that they can use in starting their own business.
Lieutenant Colonel Jason T Bajet, Assistant Chief of Staff
for Personnel, G1, said the seminar is a great help to the 7ID troops in terms
of their financial management and resources as well as their livelihood
capability.
