CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela, Sept. 21 (PIA) - The Schools Division Office of Isabela and the 95th Infantry Division, Philippine Army based in San Mariano town have teamed up for the implementation of Radio-Based Instruction (RBI) for learners in San Mariano town.The RBI is one of the DepEd’s teaching and learning modalities to be implemented in order to reach learners in the far flung areas using radio.
The signing of Memorandum of Agreement was made between OIC Schools Division Superintendent of Isabela Dr. Madelyn Macalling and 95th Infantry Battalion Commander Lt. Col. Gladiuz Calilan and witnessed by DepEd - Isabela and 95IB officials.
“We expressed our sincerest gratitude to the leadership of Salaknib Battalion for accommodating our teacher broadcasters of the municipality in the implementation of blended learning modality using radio to facilitate teaching and learning especially in the remote areas,” Macalling said.
Meanwhile, Calilan said that his unit is prepared to help the DepEd in implementing the blended learning in these trying times.
"Our army is your army and the Salaknib Battalion is your station. We are workers for the civilians especially in the remote areas," Calilan said. (MDCT/MGE/PIA 2-Isabela)
