LOOK| With the help of Former Rebels (FRs) of the unit and their intensified intelligence and military operations, troops from the 26th Infantry "Ever Onward" Battalion seized an arms cache with 3 high-powered firearms and hundreds of rounds of ammunition while conducting military operations at the hinterlands of Sitio Kimambukadyang, Barangay Binicalan, Agusan del Sur on January 14, 2023.In a statement, Lt.Col Sandy Majarocon, Commanding Officer of 26IB, thanked the FRs who gave valuable information leading to the seizure of these HPFAs. He also appreciated the ever-increasing support of the communities and local government units that supported the Philippine Army.
“It is clear proof of the people’s trust in us to protect them, and for that, we will continue to intensify our initiatives and efforts to secure our people, especially in far-flung communities”
