From the Visayan Daily Star (Nov 8, 2019): JTF head new 3rd ID commander
Joint Task Force Negros chief Brig. Gen. Eric Vinoya is the new commander of the Army’s 3rd Infantry Division.
Vinuya will replace Maj. Gen. Dinoh Dolina, who is retiring from the military service on Nov. 14, after reaching the mandatory retirement age of 56.
Army chief Lt. Gen. Macairog Alberto is officiating over the 3ID change of command from Dolina to Vinoya on Nov. 12 at Camp Macario Peralta in Jamindan, Capiz.
The change of command leadership will be preceded by a testimonial parade and retirement ceremony, in honor for Dolina.
Before his new position, Vinoya, a member of the Philippine Military Academy Class 1987, also served as Assistant Division Commander of 3ID and concurrent JTF-Negros chief.
As the incoming 3ID commander, Vinoya will supervise three Army infantry brigades stationed in Panay, Negros and Bohol.
