After the series of peace covenant signing in the different cities and municipalities in Western and Central Mindanao, Marine Battalion Landing Team-3 also held one in Kalingalan Caluang, Sulu.
All the aspirants of the different local government positions signed in the peace covenant.
A very historic event happened this afternoon at the Headquarters, Marine Battalion Landing Team-3 in Barangay Seit Poblacion, Panamao, Sulu wherein all the aspirants of Kalingalan Caluang for the upcoming 2019 Midterm Elections met in a neutral ground for a noble purpose that is the formal signing of Peace Covenant.
The activity was done purposely to ensure that the midterm elections would be credible, honest, orderly and peaceful.
“I personally commend the troops of all the Joint Task Forces for your efforts that goes with our intent to accomplish our mission and purpose of having a credible, orderly, peaceful and honest 2019 midterm elections,” said LtGen Arnel Dela Vega.
