STA CRUZ, Ilocos Sur (DWDD) – A former member of the terrorist group New People’s Army (NPA) who voluntarily surrendered last December 2017 turned-over his firearms and ammunition to government forces last February 6 in Santa Cruz, Ilocos Sur
Rodel Alzate alias Bagwis, a former member of Iskwad Dos, Samahang Yunit Proaganda under the Begnalen Command, KLG MONTES and a resident of Sitio Kasakgudan, Barangay San Ramon East, Manabo, Abra turned over his firearm, one (1) Caliber 30 M1 US Carbine with defaced serial number, one (1) magazine and one (1) live ammo.
The turn-over and custodial debriefing was held at the Battalion Headquarters of the 81st Infantry Battalion in Barangay Bugbuga, Sta Cruz, Ilocos Sur. AES
