PUERTO PRINSESA, Palawan (DWDD) – The threat from the communist/terrorist group New People’s Army (NPA) has continued to dwindle with the support of government efforts by the community.



Community vigilance and cooperation has already resulted in the surrender of NPA members, the recovery of war materials and the dismantling of their plans to conduct terrorist activities in Palawan.

“Dahil sa patuloy na pakikiisa ng Palaweño upang masugpo ang karahasan at kaguluhan sa Palawan, di na mabilang na kagamitang pandigma ang narekober sa kamay ng mga terorista. Hindi mapagkakaila na ang pagtutulungan ang siyang tunay na susi sa kapayapaan.
