Attached are the common outlines and frameworks for the final peace pact that will end Asia's longest running communist insurgency   

 The Philippine government and the communist National Democratic Front (NDF) signed on Sunday, October 9, a joint statement approving common frameworks and outlines to guide discussions on socio-economic reforms, political and constitutional reforms, and the end of hostilities and disposition of forces.

The joint statement also includes commitments to enforce a joint bilateral ceasefire that is more stable that the current unilateral ceasefires, and to secure the release of 434 NDF detainees through a general amnesty proclamation.

The joint statement is the result of 4 days of negotiations in Norway from October 6 to 9.
