The Malngog Encounter at Brgy. Malngog, Datu Saudi, Maguindanao on Sunday around 8:30 in the morning, March 29, 2015 ranks as the third major encounter between BIFF and AFP since the General Katapang All Out Offense against BIFF. The first one was in Brgy. Gawang and Sambulawan on the 27th of February 2015 both in the Municipality of Datu Saudi, Maguindanao. Second was at Barrio Muslim, Guindulungan also in Maguindanao province, in the afternoon of Friday (March 6, 2015).
Of these 3 major encounters, only 3 BIFF men were killed in action (SHAHEED) while wounded 20. In the enemy sides, still vehemently denying the actual number of casualties. But civilian authorities in the communities involved who saw the actual hauling (loading) of dead bodies of government forces on government vehicles (Ambulances) in the 3rd BIFF-AFP encounters, there would be no less than 50 while the enemies claimed that there were 104 killed in the BIFF men as reported by the 6ID spokeswoman about two weeks ago.
As of yesterday’s encounter March 29, 2015, one SHAHEED (killed in action) in the BIFF and six (6) wounded. To the enemies (AFP) 3 units of government owned vehicles were badly hit by BIFF 90RR. There were: one unit of 6x6, one unit Korean Car and one unit White Red Cross Car. No less than 50 of the AFP men were killed in yesterday’s fierce encounters.
