Top NPA leader in Palawan, comrades surrender to 3MBde
Marine Base Rodolfo Punsalang, PPC - A top NPA leader identified as Almar L Toting Jr, 32 aka KA ALLAN surrendered to the personnel of 3rd Marine Brigade, Tuesday, 5 November 2019 at Sofronio Española, Palawan.
Ka Allan, is the Commanding Officer of Bienvenido Valleber Command of SRMA GU-4E, and concurrent Field Operational Commander (FOC) of KLG-South. Ka Allan voluntarily submit himself to the folds of the law together with his other comrades.
Ka Allan and his men decided to surrender due to the difficulties they have encountered in envading the recent sustained Law enforcement and security operations (LESO) and focused military operations (FMO) by AFP and PNP forces under Palawan Provincial Task Force ELCAC. Negotiating team from 3rd Marine Brigade also contacted Toting's family, to ensure that his way out of the Communist-Terrorist Group is the best solution in embracing a peaceful and meaningful life.
Ka Allan had been instrumental in the surrender of other NPA comrades. He helped the authorities in convincing his fellow Communist-NPA-Terrorists (CNTs) to surrender and lay down their arms to government troops.
Seven other members of NPA who voluntarily surrender are the following: alias KA RESMI (squad member); alias KA WILME (squad member); alias KA HONEY(medical officer); alias KA TROY (liason) and alias KA JUSTINE (squad member), all under KLG-South, SRMA GU-4E. A certain aka KA RANDY, a People's Intel Network (PIN) based in El Nido and a Ganap na Samahang Masa (GSM) leader identified as Janeth from Maasin Brooke's Point also submit themselves to the authorities.
Ka Allan and his men voluntarily surrendered the following armaments: two (2) M16 rifle; two (2) .9mm; one (1) shotgun; magazines; ang ammunitions.
Team WESCOM, under VADM RENE V MEDINA AFP, expresses his grateful appreciation to the men and women of Joint Task Force Peacock; 3rd Marine Brigade; Joint CMO Task Group West; and Joint Intelligence Task Group West who are behind the successful surrender of the CNTs.
He also lauded the cooperation and commitment of Ka Allan and other surrenderees in embracing peace and quitting their armed struggle against the government. Rest assured that the government will help them avail the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP).
