According to Alias Popings, 42 years old, also a handicap he decided to return to the folds of the law because he can’t see the future of his family in the armed revolution. The New People’s Army (NPA) propaganda of equal rights to all is just a deceitful way to gain more members and supporters.

The launching of Development Security Support Plan “Pangandoy Mis Or” which aims to improve the Socio-Economic Development of the people in the Province of Misamis oriental and the all-out support to the President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s Whole-of-Nation Approach to End Local Communist Armed Conflict has gained tremendous results and positive feedback all over Region 10.

“Alias Popengs along with the other new surrenderees will be enrolled to the Enhanced Local Integration Program (E-CLIP) to receive benefits for choosing the road to peace,” said by Lt. Col. Roy Anthony O. Derilo, Commanding Officer, 58th Infantry Battalion.
