ALABEL, Sarangani (DWDD) – A Sarangani cop and CAA (Cafgu Army Auxiliary) will receive an award from Philippine Army as celebration of its 119th founding anniversary on March 22, 2016 at Headquarters, Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila.
The award will be presented by no less than President Benigno S. Aquino tomorrow, March 22, 2016.
SPO3 Ezrael D. Lantingan of Alabel Police Station will receive Command Plaque, security sector category while CAA Gregorio Laginan of Datal Anggas, Alabel Patrol Base will received Kagitingan sa Barangay level of Maginoo.
They will be awarded as recognition to their contribution to the success on the campaign of 73Rd Infantry Battalion (73IB) and 1002nd Infantry Brigade (1002Bde) of Philippine Army in Sarangani Province.
SPO2 Lantingan specifically help the 73IB and 1002 brigade on the legal cooperation effort while CAA Lantingan helped on the peace and development efforts in Sarangani province by 73IB and 1002 Brigade.
Lt. Col. Ronnie Babac, the Battalion Commander of 73IB expressed his gratitude to the two for their dedication. “The award is the simple way by the Phil Army of thanking them for their support in our quest of attaining just and lasting peace in our area of responsibility.
