Doña Remedios Trinidad, Bulacan – A military battalion receives equipment from local government to help in Civil-Military Operation in Malolos City last July 16, 2020.
The Provincial Government of Bulacan donates two Mavic 2 Pro drones to the 48th Infantry “Guardians” Battalion to enhance their operational capability in the area.
Bulacan Provincial Governor Daniel Fernando handed over the equipment that will be utilized in different Civil-Military Operations, Intensified Information Operation, and other information campaigns.
Additionally, the drones will also be used in the conduct of Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR) Operations and other emergency-related activities.
The 703rd Infantry (Agila) Brigade Commander Brigadier General Andrew D. Costelo commended the Provincial Government of Bulacan for their undying support to the Guardians Battalion.
“With this additional equipment, we are able to enhance our capability towards world class Army that would be a source of national pride,” BGen Costelo added.
Likewise, 48IB Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Felix Emeterio M. Valdez said, “The whole Guardians Battalion would like to thank the Province of Bulacan through Governor Fernando for the unwavering support that he gives us. Rest assured that we will maximize the use of this equipment as we continue to secure and serve the people of Bulacan.”
