Amid the conduct of checkpoint operation, combined elements from the 90th Infantry Battalion and Talitay Municipal Police Station apprehended a drug personality in Sitio Tamlang, Barangay Kiladap, Talitay, Maguindanao on April 19, 2019.
Seized from Mastura Esmail Hassan (of legal age and a resident of Barangay Adaon, Datu Angal Midtimbang, Maguindanao) were one sachet of 5-7 grams “Shabu” with street value of Php1, 700.00; one piece lighter; one totter; Php 180.00 cash, one Nokia cellular phone; one box of Marlboro cigarettes; and one Honda wave motorcycle.
The apprehended personality and the confiscated illegal drugs and other paraphernalia were brought to Talitay MPS for filing of appropriate cases and proper disposition.
“Congratulations to the troops of the Joint Task Force Central led by Major General Cirilito Sobejana for their outstanding accomplishments this year,” LtGen Arnel Dela Vega said.
“Western Mindanao Command through all of its Joint Task Forces, continuously perform its mandate of conducting prompt and sustained military and support operations for peace and prosperity in Western and Central Mindanao,” LtGen Dela Vega added.
