The 40th Infantry (Magiting) Battalion celebrated its 44th Founding Anniversary yesterday, April 25.
Anchored with the theme: “Leading Peace and Unity Through 44 Years”, the activity held at the Headquarters 40IB in Barangay Zapakan, Rajah Buayan, Maguindanao was highlighted with the giving of awards to the outstanding enlisted personnel and stakeholders who have been the unit’s partners in its peace initiative.
In his message, Joint Task Force Central Commander, Major General Cirilito Sobejana, who was the guest of honor and speaker during the said activity, commended the officers, men and women of the 40IB for reaching another milestone of winning peace.
Also present during the said activity representatives from the different local government sectors, PNP and other stakeholders.
