Barangay officials and security forces convene in a security conference held at the Headquarters of the 4th Special Forces Battalion (Riverine) in Cabunbata, Isabela City, Basilan yesterday (March 9).
The conference was held to address the pressing issues about security following the shooting incident which transpired the other day.
Lieutenant Colonel Achilles A. Dela Cruz, the Commanding Officer of 4SFBN(R), addressed the security concerns of the barangay officials and stated his condemnation on the politically-motivated and other forms of atrocities.
“It’s our job to secure our community. Feel free to approach us for any security concern,” LtC Dela Cruz added.
The 4th Special Forces Battalion (Riverine) together with the 15th Special Forces Company and the PNP strictly implement checkpoints along strategic locations all over the city.
“All security forces work hand-in-hand to keep each and every citizen safe and secured,” said WestMinCom Chief Lieutenant General Arnel B. Dela Vega.
“We are your defenders, you can count on us,” he added.
