From DWDD AFP Civil Relations Service Radio Website (Aug 15): SUSTAINED OPERATION | WESCOM recovers war materials from CNTs
PUERTO PRINSESA, Palawan (DWDD) – The Commander, Joint Task Force Peacock, Colonel Charlton Sean Gaerlan and Commander, Joint Task Group South, Lt Colonel Darwin De Luna, presented to the Commander, Western Command (WESCOM), Lt General Rozzano Briguez, the firearms, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), ammunition, and other items recovered from the armed encounter with communist NPA terrorists (CNTs) that transpired last August 8, 2018 in Barangay Quinlogan, Quezon, Palawan.
After the clearing operations following the firefight, more items were recovered from the encounter site, including two IEDs, sniper scope, ammunition, cellphones, hand-held radios, uniforms, medical paraphernalia and other personal items of the CNTs. WESCOM / MCAG
