SAN JOSE, Antique (DWDD) – Joint Armed Forces of the Philippines – Philippine National Police elements of Antique Mobile Force Company, San Jose, Antique Municipal Police Station led by Police Superintendent Darroca and 301st Infantry Brigade Intelligence Task Group led by 1LT Labrador while serving Warrant of Arrest (WOA) of Joven Ceralvo alias Lex and Jason Talibo alias Bebe who are members of the Regional Taxation Implementing Group (RTIG) of Komiteng Rehiyon Panay (KRP) of the CPP-NPA-NDF encountered eight (8) Communist NPA Terrorists (CNTs) at Barangay Atabay, San Jose, Antique .

The firefight lasted for about 33 minutes. The encounter resulted in the neutralization of seven (7) CNTs, identified as Jason Talibo alias Bebe – Finance Officer of Southern Front, KRP, Jason Sanchez, Assitant finance officer, RTIG Liezel Badiola alis Mayang, Cultural Staff, RTIG Karen Ceralvo alias Liway – Educational functional staff and member RTIG and 3 still unidentified cadaver; and the seizure of one (1) KG9 Sub-machinegun, one (1) 38 cal pistol, two (2) hand grenades, two (2) M203 ammunition, numerous extortion letters, subversive documents, four (4) laptops and multimedia materials.
