CAMP SERVILLANO AQUINO, Tarlac City (DWDD) – A most wanted member of the New People’s Army Terrorist Group was apprehended by joint elements of Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and Philippine National Police in Bataan province at about 4:30 PM of June 13, 2018 (Wednesday).
The suspect was arrested in Brgy. San Juan, Samal, Bataan who was later identified as Juanito D. Carabeo @ TOKTOK, 62 years old, married and a resident of Brgy San Juan, Samal, Bataan. He was a CPP/NPA member with a pending warrant of arrest of Murder, Rebellion and an Arson case at the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 2 Balanga City.
Joint operatives from the 300th Air Intelligence Service Wing (300AISW) of the Philippine Air Force, 7th Military Intelligence Battalion (7MIB) under the 7th Infantry Division (7ID) of the Philippine Army (PA), Naval Intelligence Service Group (NISG) of the Philippine Navy, Police Regional Intelligence Units, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) and Samal Municipal Police Office (MPS) conducted a synchronized manhunt operation against the most wanted person with warrant of arrest.
This resulted to the arrest of said suspect listed as most wanted at the regional level. Subject person was brought to Samal MPS for documentation and proper disposition.
