his is the final report on the monitored armed conflict that happened on 16 April 2018 between the 79th Infantry Batallion of AFP and alleged members of the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People's Army (CPP-NPA) in Brgy. Nataban and Mabato. The conflict transpired in the upper slopes of Barangay Guadalupe, Baranggay Buluangan and Brgy. Quezon. The IDPs took temporary shelter in Handalago Elementary School, Mabato Elementary School, and Balabag Elementary school.
1. Status of Affected Families / Persons
In total, 112 families or 445 persons were affected by the armed conflict in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental (see Table 1).
2. Status of Displaced Families/ Persons
Inside Evacuation Centers
There were 112 families or 445 persons who stayed in 3 evacuation centers (see Table 2).
3. Cost of Assistance
₱64,025.00 worth of assistance was provided to the affected families, all of which came from the LGU (see Table 3).
