From DWDD AFP Civil Relations Service Radio Website (Feb 16): NEW LIFE | 14IB facilitates assistance to former rebels
EASTERN SAMAR (DWDD) – Three (3) former rebels who were members of NPA have received the immediate and livelihood assistance amounting to Php 65,000.00 for each of them through the Comprehensive Local Integration Program (CLIP) that was facilitated by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) – Eastern Samar Provincial Office and was supported by the personnel of the 14th Infantry “Avenger” Battalion on February 13, 2018.
One of them has received an additional amount as remuneration for the firearm he also surrendered.
The financial assistance they received will serve as their capital for a peaceful and better life with the comfort of their families as they join the mainstream of society. 14IB / MCAG
