Armed men abducted two workers of a construction firm in Sulu on Thursday morning (June 5).
Police identified the victims as Romigio "Jingjong" Lingayon and Joselito Gonzales.
Lingayon and Gonzales reportedly came from Maimbung town and were on their way to Jolo town proper when they were flagged down by at least seven unidentified suspects.
The victims were then dragged into a waiting vehicle which sped towards a still undetermined location.
The two were employed by a construction company working on an infrastructure project by Sulu Vice Governor Abdusakur Tan.
