A TOTAL of 820 residents were able to avail of the free services offered during the medical and civic action mission spearheaded by army reservists from the 1901st Ready Reserve Infantry Brigade and 5th Technical and Administrative Service Brigade (Reserve) led by Lt. Col. Guy Gabison III and Capt. Margarita Yu last Sunday at the Ibo Elementary School in barangay Ibo, Toledo City, Cebu.

The residents, composed of adults and children, benefited from a wide range of services offered during the activity from medical check-ups and free medicines to tooth extraction, storybook reading and games, legal and notarial services, alternative livelihood seminar including massage training feeding and haircut.

Major sponsor Vicsal Development Corp. provided the logistical support, medicines and meals for the feeding program.

The activity is part of the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ Internal Peace and Security Plan call "Bayanihan."
