PBBM appoints LtGen Galido as the new CGPA
The Commander-in-Chief, President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. designated LtGen Roy M Galido PA as the 66th Commanding General of the Philippine Army.
A member of the Philippine Military Academy’s “Bigkis Lahi” Class of 1990, LtGen Galido has led a sterling military career, which includes his tour as Commander of 6th Infantry "Kampilan" Division, Philippine Army
and Western Mindanao Command of the Armed Forces of the Philippines. His extensive experience and well-honed skills resulted in the significant victories of his Command against lawless elements, especially in Mindanao.
With LtGen Galido at the helm, the Philippine Army will undoubtedly and excellently pursue the strategic path set by the Commander-in-Chief in pursuit of the country’s stability amid the changing security landscape.
