The lady governor officially assumed her new post Monday in a change-of-command ceremony presided by Major General Juvymax Uy, Commander of the Army’s 6th Infantry Division.
In her message, Governor Mangudadatu shared the honor to be of service to her constituents. “Today I am humbled to accept yet another huge responsibility to serve the country. Just like what I said during our donning few months back, this opportunity is not just conferred to me but to every Maguindanaon I represent every single day.”
She also vowed to push for peace, security and progress anchored on a dedicated and committed service for the development of the province. “Ang bagong responsibilidad na ito ay mas magbibigay oportunidad sa ating mahal na lalawigan upang maabot ang minimithi nating pangmatagalang kapayapaan at kaunlaran.”
Also present during the change-of-command ceremony is Sultan Kudarat Governor Lt. Col. Suharto Mangudadatu, the commanding officer of the 1202nd (Sultan Kudarat) CDC, Ready Reserve Battalion, ARESCOM, Philippine Army. (PIA Sultan Kudarat)
