KUTA HEN TEODULFO BAUTISTA, Jolo, Sulu (DWDD) – A member of the Abu Sayyaf Group under Radullan Sahiron laid down his firearm and surrendered to the troops of Joint Task Force Sulu in Kuta Heneral Teodulfo Bautista, Barangay Busbus, Jolo, Sulu October 23, 2018.
Ulod Jahidda Sajiri a.k.a Ullod, 31 years old, married, and a resident of Poblacion, Maimbung, Sulu, yielded to the troops of the 101st Brigade under Brigadier General Divino Rey Pabayo, Jr. bringing along with him one (1) M1 Garand rifle.
Subject was brought to KHTB Station Hospital for medical check-up, documentation, and custodial debriefing.
Meanwhile, two lawless elements were apprehended during the conduct of joint AFP and PNP law enforcement operation at Purok Gemilina, Barangay Tenan, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay around 2:40pm Tuesday (October 23).
Janury Morabbil Canda and Asing Basaluddin were apprehended by the joint elements of the 44th Infantry Battalion and the Intelligence Units of the AFP and PNP.
Recovered in their position were one unit caliber 45 and a hand grenade.
The two (2) suspects were then turned-over to Ipil PNP for proper disposition.
