From Update Philippines (Dec 6): 754 Candidate Soldiers start training
Training of 754 Candidate Soldiers (CS) were admitted by the 1st Infantry ‘Tabak’ Division, Philippine Army on December 4.
Tabak Division is headquartered at Camp Major L. Sang-an, Pulacan, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur. It specializes in anti-guerrilla warfare.

The qualified applicants will undergo 16-week Candidate Soldier Course divided into Classes 506, 507, 518, 519, and 520 of 2017.
Tabak Division commander Brigadier General Roseller G. Murillo led the said event.
“I hope that all of the 754-strong candidate soldiers will be able to finish their training course. The objective of this training is for you to have the strength and discipline befitting a soldier, and transform you into fighters that can defend the country,” Brigadier General Murillo said.
