From DWDD AFP Civil Relations Service Radio Website (Nov 22): NO MORE | OPAPP cancels talks with CPP-NPA-NDF
MANILA (DWDD) – The Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAPP) has cancelled all meeting and talks with the Communist Party of the Philippines – National Democratic Front – New People’s Army (CPP-NDF-NPA).
According to Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process Jesus Dureza, he ordered the suspension of all talks with the Communist group in accordance with the order of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte that there will no more peace talks with the terrorist group.
President Duterte gave the order after the CPP-NPA-NDF continued with their terroristic activities, like arson, ambuscades and extortion on private and public individuals / groups.
Meanwhile, Sec Dureza thanked the Norwegian government for their assistance, in the form of being a third-party facilitator, for the GPH-CPP Peace Process. AES
