From DWDD AFP Civil Relations Service Radio Website (Nov 30): VISIT | PRRD Meets WIA Soldiers Confined at 4ID Station Hospital
Philippine Army’s 4th Infantry Division (4ID), Patag, Cagayan de Oro City (DWDD) – President Rodrigo R Duterte flew to Cagayan de Oro to visit and award troops who are recuperating from wounds sustained during the almost week-long military offensive operations in Butig.
He was also visited members of the Presidential Security Group (PSG) who were hurt during an unfortunate roadside bombing while enroute to the area of 103rd Infantry Brigade.
Aggressive Military operations continue to date against the Local Terrorist Group with government troops now securing much of the Municipality of Butig.
Troops are currently completing the necessary clearing operations in the outskirts of the area. To date, troops have reported 61 killed and 12 wounded on the LTG side and 35 wounded troops. The AFP wounded figure includes those hurt during the roadside Improvise Explosive Device incident. RTVM / MCAG
