The Moro
Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) has released an official statement condemning
the attack of civilians in Paris ,
France
The Islamic
State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), which has been denounced by Muslim scholars as
non-Islamic, had claimed responsibility for the barbaric attack.
The ISIS militants launched at least six gun and bomb attacks
in rapid succession on indiscriminate civilian targets. Three suicide bombs
targeted spots around the national Stade de France stadium, north of the
capital, where Hollande was watching an exhibition soccer match. Fans inside
the stadium recoiled at the sound of explosions, but the match continued amid
rising spectator fears.
The
statement of the MILF ledership, which was also released to various media
outlets, runs as follows:
"We
are deeply saddened by today's tragic events in Paris , France
This is
unacceptable. The MILF rejects such acts of terror against humanity and all
peace-loving peoples.
Our
thoughts are with the victims and their families. May we all find our way
through these troubled times and emerge with a stronger resolve to pursue peace
for all peoples in all parts of the world.
We take
this opportunity also to condemn in same strong terms the violence against
civilians in Palestine , in Myanmar
