Pambansang Lakas ng Kilusang Mamamalakaya ng Pilipinas (PAMALAKAYA-National Federation of Small Fisherfolk Organizations in the Philippines) is a Communist Party of the Philippines sectoral front group focused on issues in the fishing sector. The group has protested against Chinese authorities denying Philippine fishermen access to their traditional fishing grounds in the West Philippine Sea.
ReplyDeleteThe CPP has adopted a very nationalist position with regard to Philippine sovereignty over the Kalayaan Islands and has conducted a number of protest actions over the Chinese takeover of Philippine claimed territory in the West Philippine Sea.
