There are several key dates throughout the year where Communist Party of the Philippines front organizations turn out to conduct the obligatory anti-US protest activity. July 4th is one of them.
ReplyDeleteGABRIELA (General Assembly Binding Women for Reform, Integrity, Equality, Leadership, and Action) is a sectoral front focused on women's issues and is a member of the main CPP multisectoral, umbrellas front organization BAYAN (Bagong Alysansan Makaban--New Patriotic Alliance). There is also a Gabriela Women's Party that that functions as a political front and is a spin-off from the sectoral organization.
