With the coming of the rainy season, the Philippine Air Force (PAF) said on Wednesday it is reviewing its disaster response plan, including reserve aircraft and spare parts, to find out whether these are enough for any contingency.
PAF chief Lt. Gen. Jeffrey F. Delgado told reporters in a briefing that the review is being conducted to determine whether PAF units dedicated for disaster response need to be reinforced with additional equipment and personnel.
In the same briefing, Delgado assured the people that the Air Force has the necessary air assets to help the government in its relief efforts should it be required.
