For ensuring the success of its "Ten Outstanding Philippine Soldiers" (TOPS) program, the Metrobank Foundation, Inc. (MBFI) and Rotary Club of Makati Metro (RCMM) has expressed its gratitude to the various units of the Armed Forces.
Among the offices recognized was the Army Chief Public Affairs (OACPA), Philippine Army.
This was done during the fellowship dinner held at the Function Room of the City Club Alphaland in
MBFI and RCMM also acknowledged the Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Personnel, G1, PA and Office of the Army Sergeant Major.
Joining them were the Office of Deputy Chief of Staff for Personnel, J1; Civil Relations Service, AFP; Office of the AFP Public Affairs Office; Office of the Assistant Chief of Naval Staff for Personnel, N1; Office of the Assistant Chief of Air Staff for Personnel, A1; Office of the Naval Public Affairs; Office of the Air Force Public Affairs; Office of the Philippine Navy Sergeant Major, Office of the Philippine Air Force Sergeant Major.
TOPS is a joint program of the Rotary Club of Makati Metro (RCMM) and Metrobank Foundation, Inc. (MBFI) that is supported by the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
Since 1994, the RCMM and MBFI name the TOPS of the year in recognition to the invaluable contributions of the men and women of the AFP to the country and the people, particularly their role in nation-building.
Col. Romeo S. Brawner Jr., Chief Master Sgt. Rogelio J. Mendoza, and Technical Sgt. Ferdinand S. Baladjay made it to the prestigious list of the outstanding soldiers in the country last year.
The Search for the 2014 TOPS is now underway.
