From the Philippine Navy Website (Oct 26): U.S. Task Force Commander Visits Phil Navy

Rear Admiral John R Haley, Commander of Carrier Strike Group Five, Task Force Seven Zero and Battle Force 7th Fleet visited the Headquarters Philippine Navy (HPN) and paid courtesy call on the Acting Flag Officer in Command, Rear Admiral Edgar L Abogado last October 24, 2012. Rear Admiral Haley was accompanied by Captain John Schultz, Commodore of Destroyer Squadron (COMDERSON), Captain Greg Felton, Commanding Officer of USS George Washington (CVN-73) and Command Master Chief Shaun Brahmsteadt.  The two parties discussed about the goodwill visit of the George Washington Carrier Strike Group (GWCSG) which will run for 5 days from October 24 to 29 2012. This visit will involve various activities such as meeting procedures, port briefing, courtesy calls, reception, ship’s tours, professional exchanges or Subject Matter Expertise Exchanges (SMEEs), Community Relations or Community Services (COMREL or COMSERV) projects and goodwill games between Philippine Navy (PN) and United States Navy (USN) counterparts....
