From the MILF Website (Oct 26): Moros hold forum on MILF-GPH peace pact in Zamboanga City
Members of the Bangsamoro businessmen, civil society organizations (CSO), academe, and other groups held a forum on the GPH-MILF Framework Agreement on the Bangsamoro at the Garden Orchid Hotel in Zamboanga City last October 14. Dubbed as “People’s Voice,” the forum was facilitated by Professor Ali Ayub and Atty. Nazir Ynawat a former assemblyman in ARMM. The panelists came from different sectoral groups such as professionals, religious blocs, both from Muslim and Christian, youth sector, women sector, leaders of the MILF and MNLF , and other concerned groups. Each of the panelists, who all manifested their willingness to support the peace pact, was given 5-10 minutes to talk. The participants also included local government officials, particularly the DILG. Region IX Director, members of the academes from different universities and colleges, youth leaders, students and other group. A member of the Steering Committee of the Bangsamoro Leadership and Management Institute (BLMI), as well as MILF political and military leaders from the various island provinces of Western Mindanao also graced the forum....
