From the Philippine Information Agency (Oct 26): AFP officers and men renew allegiance to code of ethics

Soldiers in all military camps under the 3rd Infantry (Spearhead) Division (3ID) renewed their allegiance to the AFP Code of Ethics at Monday's flag raising ceremony on the occasion of the 21st anniversary of the ratification and promulgation of the said code of ethics. In a report sent by the 3rd Division Public Affairs Office, the highlights of said celebration were the messages sent by the top guns of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and Philippine Army (PA). Lt.General Emmanuel Bautista, commanding general of the Philippine Army (CGPA) in a message read for him by Colonel Wilson Leyva, 3ID Chief of Staff, said that the Army has recognized the imperative of abiding by the service ethics and professional standards to ensure that all members shall exercise accountability in all actions.
