AFP MODERNIZATION | The Philippine Navy commissions into service two new Acero-class (Shaldag Mk. V) fast attack & interdiction crafts last May 26, 2022 during their 125th Anniversary celebration. These new assets are intended for territorial and coastal patrol operations. The gunboats were named BRP Gener Tinangag (PG-903) and BRP Domingo Deluana (PG-905) after two posthumous Medal for Valor awardees.
