1CMOBn installs new Battalion Commander
CAMP SANG-AN, ZDS — The 1st Civil-Military Operations Battalion (1CMOBn) of the 1st Infantry (Tabak) Division installs its new Battalion Commander in a change of command ceremony held here at the Headquarters, 1CMOBn, 1ID, PA on March 24.
Lt. Col. Abdurasad D. Sirajan succeeded Col. Abdelhalim H. Sakilan, who will now proceed to a higher position.
Prior to his position, Lt. Col. Sirajan previously served as the Chief of Westmincom’s command public information office. He is a member of the Officer Candidate Course class of 1998.
During his speech, Lt. Col. Sirajan expressed his gratitude to the command for considering him as the commanding officer of 1CMOBn.
Meanwhile, Maj. Gen. Antonio G. Nafarrete congratulated both incoming and outgoing officers. He also thanked Col. Sakilan for his unwavering support in all 1ID initiatives, as well as his dedication to obediently supporting and acquiring what is asked of them.
