Assorted firearms and explosives hidden in a cave were recovered yesterday by troopers of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 7 in Sitio Bacong, Brgy. Bala-as, Manjuyod, Negros Oriental.
The recovery of firearms and explosives cache was an offshoot of joint a combat operation of RMFB 7, 2nd NOPPO Provincial Mobile Force Company, Regional Intelligence Unit 7 and Manjuyod Police Station, following a tip from residents in the area.
The ownership of recovered firearms and explosives are still being determined by the police, as of this time.
